Ladakh is all about snow-clad big mountains, the beautiful sky, mesmerizing meadows, cold untamed rivers, exotic lakes and the challenging high altitude passes.
Being a part of India’s Union Territories, Ladakh has been attracting national and international tourists making it a niche tourist destination.
Started on the shores of Goa in 2011, The Verda Group of Hotels has come a long way and made its mark in the hospitality sector by being the first hotel chain to get a foothold in the lap of the mighty Himalayas, the serene & a dream holiday destination, Ladakh.
Nurtured by the Atal Incubation Centre at the Goa Institute of Management (GIM), one of a series of incubation centres promoted by the NITI Aayog to promote innovation and entrepreneurship the country and create scalable and sustainable business enterprises, our core effort was always towards making the customer experience delightful.
To complement this we take complete charge of the property under our brand name. We implement strict standardised SOPs which cover upping guest relations, ambience, housekeeping, food and beverage practices, developing quality amenities and incisive training of human resources.
Having signed our first hotel in November with ‘The Verda Driftwood’, we have four hotels in Ladakh now covering the circuit of Nubra with ‘The Verda White Sands’, Pangong with ‘The Verda Driftwood Lake Homes’ and Durbuk with ‘The Verda Driftwood River Retreat’
By August 2020, our target is to cover tier two and three cities in India and venture out into two international destinations.
Being a part of the first cohort of AICGIM and with the help of one of the top B-Schools in India, GIM, as an extended team, we plan for a hyper-growth in 2020 covering all the states & Union Territories of India.
